Ardagh Glass Manufacturing

The City of Dunkirk’s anchor industry is the Ardagh Glass Manufacturing Plant that produces over 3 million amber beer bottles a day. With accolades from the Anheuser Busch for the Dunkirk Plants long neck glass bottle quality, Dunkirk Plant hosts approximately 400 full time employees.

As a company, Ardagh has annual sales of about $5.4 billion. Customers include some already served by the Dunkirk plant, including AB InBev, parent company of Budweiser. Other Ardagh customers include Pernod, Heinz, Coca-Cola, Nestle, and Heineken.

Andersons Agriculture Group

The Andersons originated and is still headquartered in Maumee, Ohio. More than 75 years later, they operate in 21 states and four countries. The Andersons Grain Group facilities, which include the City of Dunkirk location, accepts corn, soybean and wheat commodities.

They are an international company with grain locations in Canada, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, and the United States.
